Water Bay, Coki Point Cleanup Sept. 30
The Water Bay and Coki Point Cleanup, sponsored by Coral World has become an annual fixture of the V.I. Coastsweeks Clean-up.
Unique in scope, this typically well-attended activity cleans both above and below the waterline. While children and adults from across the island pick-up litter from the shoreline, teams of snorkelers and SCUBA divers scour the depth for ocean trash.
In past years car and boat batteries, tires, spare parts, various plastics and other assorted items have been scoured away. For a full listing of the litter collected during the 2016 clean-ups, go HERE. [This link will take you to a page not controlled by CCVI.]
